Lucy Clark, a Washington DC native currently lives in her hometown as well as in Truro, Ma. She attended Simon's Rock of Bard College (1966-69) and the University of Pennsylvania (1969-70)
Clark works primarily with the figure and landscape - in various mediums, mostly oil on wood panels, graphite with gouache and ink on paper. She works from life and memory.
She has exhibited in numerous galleries in Washington DC, New York City, Provincetown, Ma, San Francisco and the Bay Area as well as in many locations around the world through the Art-in-the- Embassies Program. Her work is in the collections of many individuals and institutions including the Washington Post, World Bank, Marriott Corp and Cheekwood Fine Arts Center.
