Lucy Clark, a Washington DC native currently lives in her hometown as well as in Truro, Mass. She attendedSimon's Rock of Bard College and the University of Pennsylvania.
Her latest work is primarily concerned with figuration - in various mediums, mostly oil on wood panels, pencil and gouache/ink on paper. She works from life as well as from memory and imagination.
She has exhibited in numerous galleries in Washington DC, New York City, San Francisco and the Bay Area as well
as many locations around the world through the Art-in-the- Embassies Program. Her work is in the collections of many individuals and institutions including the Washington Post, World Bank, Marriott Corp and Cheekwood Fine
Art Center.
